We’d been looking forward for ages to the first Summer Drink of Bennet (or Dixon Engineering, as it was still then). A moment when we could all gather together. Our consultants, our sales team, our freelancers, future colleagues... absolutely everyone was welcome to make this a great evening!
The first Summer Drink was held among the containers of Sommar, the industrial-inspired bar in the trendy Zuid district of Antwerp. We enjoyed a lovely meal with food-sharing dishes, the drinks flowed, but above all, everyone chatted a lot! And of course that was precisely the aim of this evening.
It almost looked as if things would go wrong when a few drops of rain started to fall, but luckily that’s all it was – a few drops. The sun even came out again towards the end of the evening.
Personally I thought this was a very successful first gathering. Seeing everyone talking with one another was certainly the high point for me, proof that the evening was a success. The superb view with the sun setting on the Scheldt added the finishing touch.
