Last year we had a New Year’s party, this year a Christmas party!
Not in a traditional upholstered room, but in the trendy Zuid district, in the greenhouses of Plein Publiek.
The whole Dixon Engineering team gathered one Friday evening in December in the greenhouses of the restaurant Plein Publiek. Luckily, most people followed the ‘ugly Christmas sweater’ dress code, because the heating wouldn’t come on at the start of the evening. So the aperitif was a bit wintry, but fortunately there was no lack of good cheer! Once we’d enjoyed a few glasses of cava and some tasty snacks, it was time for Frederic’s speech. A brief word to thank everyone for the past year. A year when Bennet/Dixon Engineering recorded enormous growth as a company.
Afterwards, everyone lined up to fill their plates at the buffet. It was especially great to see how people went round to share a table with colleagues they wanted to get to know better. After the meal, we all congregated at the bar for a few nice drinks to end the evening.
This was the first such event, but certainly not the last. Hopefully we’ll see all these faces again this year, and lots of new ones, too!
